Coulter’s career in counseling, (MA Clinical Psychology, Western Seminary) began over 35 years ago, providing counseling and coaching services for individuals, couples, and families. He has extensive experience in both private practice, as well as in church settings. Along with his counseling practice, Coulter leads workshops, retreats, seminars, develops and leads programs for couples preparing for and strengthening marriage, and supervises non-licensed personnel.

Coulter has completed doctoral coursework (ABD) in cognitive psychology, and has taught and counseled high school students in Fairfax County and Falls Church City Public Schools for over 30 years. After years of counseling in different settings, including the Minirth-Meier Clinic and McLean Bible Church, Coulter founded Restore, LLC to continue to help individuals, marriages, and families become stronger.

As a result of his clinical experience, Coulter has expertise helping individuals find hope and healing in their struggles with stress, anxiety, addiction, or feeling depressed. He has counseled and coached others in the areas of premarital and marriage counseling, parenting, and child-adolescent therapy. He practices from a distinctly Christian perspective, and integrates a Biblical worldview into his work with marriages, families, and individuals.

Coulter enjoys spending time with his wife of 35 years, doing ministry together, traveling, visiting their two adult children, and volunteering with local and international ministries. He also enjoys visiting locally owned coffee shops, riding his motorcycle on country roads, and outdoor leisure activities.

Lauren Weaver

Lauren mentors and coaches women to grow in their faith and their walk with Christ as mothers, wives, and professionals. She and her husband, Coulter, design programs, lead seminars, teach, and coach couples. Lauren helps equip engaged couples with the principles and skills to build marriages for a lifetime centered on Christ. Additionally, Lauren has spoken at conferences related to her work at IJM and on topics of purposeful dating, marriage, and marriage mentoring.

Lauren also provides strategic planning and executive coaching to Christian nonprofit organizations, with a focus on encouraging the next generation of leaders, financial stewardship, and sustainable strategies in seasons of organizational change or growth.

She served as the Vice President of Finance for International Justice Mission (IJM) for 14 years. IJM is a Christian human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. While on staff she participated in a 2 year program with the Transforming Center in Chicago, IL. The Transforming Center trains Christian leaders in authentic spiritual transformation and seeks to strengthen the souls of pastors and leaders, equipping them to guide their churches and organizations to become spiritually transforming communities that discern and do the will of God in their settings.

As a CPA, Lauren has provided 30 years of financial services including strategic planning, financial reporting, strategic analysis and budgeting, audit services, tax preparation and consultation, and financial counseling. She served as the Chief Financial Officer for Harrods Natural Resources, managing the financial operations of all off-shore mineral and energy exploration companies. Lauren was responsible for the set up and maintenance of all financial components of international operations in Peru, Mongolia, and Thailand. She also worked for Price Waterhouse, LLC providing auditing services to Federal agencies, nonprofit organizations and telecommunication companies. Lauren served on the Board of Directors for GlobeXplorer, HJW GeoSpatial Inc., the MapFactory and the Financial Board for New Hope Church.
